Expectations: Each class will have a photo assignment that we will discuss and critique at the beginning of the next class. We will have a designated, shared google account to share all work. We will access this account during class to see students work. There is no need to print. All work will be turned in online.
Why are critique’s necessary? Critiques are not meant to bash or belittle a person’s artwork or skills. It is meant to be a learning activity, where we can praise what has been done well, and offer helpful and constructive thoughts and advice to our fellow students. Critique has always been used in art classes to benefit the whole class. Mean remarks are not acceptable.
