Pictures don’t need to match stories

It’s finally starting to click! Hallelujah!  By this time, I’m finally beginning to understand what is being said around me.  Everything?  No.  Not at all, but at least I’m getting the jest of things.

Interestingly, as I’ve been going through all of these old pictures and journal entries, there are a lot of things that just don’t match up.  Since I was always catching up on my journal, I know there are several pics that just didn’t get written about.  On the other hand, while I love taking pics, there are times where it’s just not appropriate.  So, enjoy the pics, and the stories.  Together I guess they tell a more complete story.  What’s not on paper, or film, is filled in by memories.

We went blueberry picking in the forest today.  I’m praying I don’t have ticks.

Today was pretty cool!  Let’s say even pretty dang cool.  It was church this morning and Bojana came.  Yay!  And, da da da da, she loved it!  I think she’s really going to start committing herself.  It was also Fast Sunday today.  Woah!  I almost starved.  But, at least it was starving for a good cause.  We went out contacting in Tivoli Park after church for about an hour.  Nothing much came of it, though.  But who knows what kind of seed might have been planted.  Then after we (all four sisters) went out to the landlady’s house.  That’s where we broke our fast.  Boy, did she ever feed us!  I’m still full and it’s 10:22pm.  First, sok, chips, cookies, ice cream, hot dogs, watermelon.  Wow!  Almost like the 4th of July, eh.  She is totally cool.  Too bad she’s not at all interested in the church.

Today was pretty cool.  We went to service this morning and I could actually understand a lot and had a conversation.  Nothing else was that exciting and there were bugs all over from the window being open, so we are turning out the light.  Black out!!
